Szymon Pawlas is a Polish-born freelance cellist based in London.
As a performer, Szymon divides his time between participating in chamber music and symphonic orchestras, and developing the project D&P Music which he founded together with the flautist Dessy Dimitrova.
From 2012 Szymon has been living and performing in London, United Kingdom. He has been a member of diverse ensembles such as Konvalia Quartet, Trio Espressivo, London Film Music Orchestra, Retrophonica, Opera Prelude and Orion Orchestra. As a participant at the Orion Orchestra, in 2017 and 2018 Szymon performed at the Aberystwyth Music Festival in Wales and has collaborated with conductors such as Tom Poster and soloists such as Guy Johnston.
